Description Optiroll Yellow – Colour optimised sticky roller trap for whitefly and aphid control Aphids and Whitefly are economically important pests that cause significant damage to a range of greenhouse crops every year. In the fight to biorationally control these pests, Russell IPM have developed three key products that utilise a scientifically optimised yellow wavelength proven to enhance catch and provide safe, simple and residue-free control. Optiroll Yellow traps are used routinely in: – vegetable crops, such as tomato and pepper – soft fruit crops, such as strawberry and raspberry – ornamental crops, such as chrysanthemum and rose – hardy nursery stock and propagation crops Optiroll Yellow roller traps attract a wide spectrum of small flying pests such as whitefly, aphids, thrips, fungus gnats, fruit flies and leaf miner flies. Optiroll yellow has been scientifically selected to maximise the trap catch of whitefly species, including the glasshouse whitefly, Trialeurodes vaporariorum. Insects are drawn to the Optiroll’s yellow colour and stick to its adhesive surface.
